About Cowichan Firewood
Cowichan Firewood was started from a genuine love of firewood, outdoor fires, wood stoves, and gathering with friends and family around a good fire. Living on Vancouver Island, we grew tired of seeing firewood prices become so expensive that everyday people could barely afford to heat their homes or enjoy a simple backyard fire anymore.
We believe there’s something timeless and important about heating with wood. Whether it’s a wood stove warming the home in winter, a campfire with family, or a bonfire with friends, firewood brings warmth, connection, comfort, and a more self-reliant way of living.
That’s why we created Cowichan Firewood — to provide honest, affordable firewood people can actually depend on.
We specialize in rough-cut & mixed-size seasoned firewood for customers looking for practical heating at fair prices, along with premium split seasoned firewood for those wanting cleaner and more uniform pieces.
We believe firewood shouldn’t cost an arm and a leg, and we’re proud to provide affordable firewood delivery throughout Duncan and the Cowichan Valley.
So we keep both on the truck: rough-cut and mixed-size firewood at $450 for 2 full cords when the budget comes first, and premium split at a premium price, because a full cord that is seasoned and ready to burn costs what it costs.
Our goal is simple:
- Fair pricing
- Real cord amounts
- Dependable delivery
- Seasoned firewood ready to burn
- Friendly local service
