Cowichan Firewood delivers seasoned firewood throughout Cobble Hill and the acreages around it. This is one of the easiest parts of the valley to deliver firewood to — most properties out here have room for a truck and room to stack, which means you can buy in the volume that actually makes sense instead of ordering a cord at a time.

Delivery to Cobble Hill runs $25 to $50 depending on exactly where you are, covering Arbutus Ridge and the properties along Hutchinson Road, Telegraph Road and Fisher Road. Mix of Seasoned firewood, Fir & Hemlock
Premium split seasoned firewood is uniform, easy to stack and easy to carry. Plenty of Cobble Hill customers buy a premium cord for the house and a budget load for the shop — the split makes sense when one pile is going indoors and the other is not.
This is the traditional firewood option and it costs more than the budget cords below, because the splitting and sorting is already done for you.
Example photo only. Every rough-cut load is different; see the description.
Two full cords of rough-cut, mixed-size seasoned firewood for $450 is our best-value load and the one that suits Cobble Hill properties best. Sizes are uneven, logging end pieces are part of the deal, and if you have somewhere to stack it out of the rain it will carry you a long way into winter.
Every load is different: mostly fir & hemlock, sometimes some cedar. Pieces are 18" or less.
This firewood includes:
Barns, shops, hobby farms and outbuildings all take a lot of heat and none of them care what the wood looks like. That is the job this load is built for. For the house, take the premium cords.
Ideal for those who can put in the sweat equity, and want to burn in:
$550 per cord

Cobble Hill is acreage country — hobby farms, shops, outbuildings and homes set well back from the road, most of them heating at least one space with wood. People here tend to buy firewood in volume once a year rather than a cord at a time, which is exactly the kind of order we are set up for. Two cords, four cords, wherever you want it on the property.
When you are buying several cords at once, a short load is not a small problem. We are straight about volume before we load and you can look the pile over before any money changes hands.
Heating a house and a shop through a Cobble Hill winter takes real volume, and at premium prices that gets expensive quickly. The rough-cut load keeps it affordable, and the premium split cords are there when you want the tidier option.
You deal with us directly — pricing, scheduling, delivery, all one conversation. If the date needs to move, you hear it from us rather than finding out when nothing shows up.
Seasoned fir and hemlock, ready to burn. Whether it is feeding a shop stove during the day or a house stove at night, it lights easily and gives you steady heat instead of smoke and hissing.
Arbutus Ridge and the properties along Hutchinson Road, Telegraph Road and Fisher Road are all covered. Delivery there is $25–$50, depending on the exact address, and Cobble Hill is about 20–30 minutes from our Duncan base.
No, deliveries run Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Calls and texts are answered on weekends, though, so you can book a weekday drop for your Cobble Hill property by reaching 250-896-9742 any day of the week.
Plenty of Cobble Hill customers do exactly that. Premium split is uniform and easy to carry indoors, at $475 per cord or $900 for 2 cords. For barns, shops and outbuildings, the rough-cut load costs $450 for two full cords.
We can’t take either. Everywhere in the Cowichan Valley, Cobble Hill included, we’re cash on delivery only. Credit cards and e-transfers aren’t accepted, so plan to pay in cash when your load is dropped off.
