Do you charge extra to come up to Chemainus?
Not a cent. Chemainus is about 15–20 minutes from our Duncan base, and some suppliers add a fee for a trip that far north. We don’t: delivery here is free, including Saltair, Westholme and the properties along Chemainus Road.
Why pick kiln dried instead of premium split?
Both are fir & hemlock. Premium split is seasoned and split to a consistent size, at $475 a cord or $900 for 2 cords. Kiln dried is the most dry, ready to burn wood we have, at a flat $525 per cord, sold in full cords only.
How much room does a 2-cord delivery take up?
Stacked, a full cord measures 4 ft × 4 ft × 8 ft, so 2 cords is 256 cubic feet of wood. The load arrives dumped, not stacked, and a loose pile needs more space than that, so clear an area the truck can back up to.
