Rough-Cut & Mixed-Size Firewood
2 Full Cords – $450

$450 for 2 full cords

This wood consists of seasoned fir & hemlock rough-cut pieces, logging end pieces, and mixed-size cuts. Some pieces are larger, some smaller, and shapes can vary. This is not premium perfectly split firewood — it’s practical, budget-friendly wood that burns well and helps people save money on heating costs.

Great for:

  • Outdoor fires
  • Wood stoves
  • Shops & garages
  • Cabins
  • Budget-conscious heating
  • Supplemental winter heating

What to expect:

  • Rough-cut & mixed-size pieces
  • Seasoned and ready to burn
  • Mixed fir & hemlock
  • Honest full cord amounts
  • Great value for the price

Every rough-cut load is different, so we can’t guarantee the exact variety of wood or the sizes. It’s mostly fir & hemlock, sometimes with some cedar and other types mixed in. All pieces are 18" or less, so depending on the size of your stove, some may need to be cut down further.

What a cord of firewood costs in the Cowichan Valley

Firewood around the valley runs anywhere from about $350 a cord to $475 or more. We sit at the top of that range, allowing us to offer consistent premium value.

We hear the same story often enough. Someone decides our wood costs too much, finds a cheaper load somewhere else, and calls us back later. The load came in under a cord, and the wood was not seasoned and not ready to burn.

You get what you pay for. We sell a premium product, with premium service, at a premium price: a full cord, seasoned and ready to burn, delivered when we say. If the budget is what matters most, our rough-cut and mixed-size load is $450 for 2 full cords.

Delivery & payment

How delivery and payment work

  • We dump and go

The wood is dumped from our trucks wherever you want it. We don’t stack or process it.

  • Truck access

Our truck needs a clear path in and out. It’s not huge, but it does need room to back in and back out.

  • Not home?

Send us a photo of where you want it, and we dump it there.

  • Payment

Cowichan Valley: cash on delivery only. No credit cards or e-transfers.

Victoria, Saanich, Langford & Sooke: cash or e-transfer. E-transfer adds 5% GST; cash is GST-free.

  • Delivery hours

Call or text any day of the week. Deliveries run Mon - Fri 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
