How much room 2.5 cords takes
Every full cord is 4 ft × 4 ft × 8 ft, or 128 cubic feet when stacked. A 2.5-cord load is 320 cubic feet of wood.
It won’t arrive in rows. The load is dumped, not stacked, and a dumped pile covers more ground than the stacked volume would.
Leave clear space where you want it, with a clear path the truck can back up to.

Questions about firewood in Langford
Is 2.5 cords the right size for full wood heat in Langford?
For a lot of our clients, yes. Homes in Langford, Highlands and Metchosin that rely on wood for full winter heat often need 2.5 cords. That order is $1,150, delivered, and single cords are also available at $475.
Are Highlands and Metchosin delivered on the same terms as Langford?
They are. Highlands and Metchosin get premium split fir & hemlock, 1 cord for $475 or 2.5 cords for $1,150, delivered Monday to Friday, with cash preferred. Some locations may have a delivery fee depending on where you are.
Does my Langford delivery ever come straight from Duncan?
Sometimes. Our dispatcher is based in Saanich and often delivers locally, but sometimes takes loads directly from Duncan, especially when dropping in the Langford area. Either way, you order the same way and get the same premium split fir & hemlock.
When should I order to avoid a wait?
Order in spring or summer if you can. Our busy stretch runs through September, October and November, easing off around Christmas, and at the busiest times the waitlist can be 3 weeks or more. We still get you in the calendar asap.
