Delivery included in Sooke
Houses out this way that lean on wood for full winter heat usually want the 2.5-cord load, which is one full bucket on our south-island truck.
A 2-cord size isn’t among the options here. The bin sizes on the trucks our south-island runs use are what set the two you can order.
Our prices are delivered prices, all in, right out to Jordan River.

Testimonials
Robbie was fantastic to deal with. He was prompt, reliable, and communicative throughout the whole process, and he delivered a great cord of high-quality firewood exactly as promised. Excellent service from start to finish. I’ll absolutely be using him again next time I need wood and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dependable firewood supplier.
Trevor
I could not be happier with the wood purchased from Cowichan Firewood. It is dry, burns beautifully leaving very little ash. The delivery was prompt, the product was as described in the ad. I highly recommend purchasing firewood from this company.

What turns up in a Sooke load
Whichever size you pick, the wood itself is the same.
Fir & hemlock, split
Premium split, seasoned fir & hemlock. It’s the one product we run on the south island.
Two sizes, one set of terms
A single cord at $525, or 2.5 cords at $1,250. Neither size is treated differently once it’s on the truck.
Cut to length
Pieces arrive at our standard 15"–16", and nothing is cut past 16". We can go down from there on request, with an additional charge below 12". Width is set by the machine splitter.
Room to turn around
The truck isn’t huge, but it does need a clear path to back in and back out again.
Sooke and the coast west of it
We cover all of Sooke, and carry on past it on the same terms. Call or text 250-896-9742 any day of the week, or email info@cowichanfirewood.com, and tell us which road the load is headed down.

Questions about firewood in Sooke
Do East Sooke and Jordan River get the same deal as Sooke?
They do. East Sooke, Otter Point, Shirley and Jordan River all buy on the terms this page describes: premium split fir & hemlock, a single cord for $525 or 2.5 cords for $1,250, delivered, with no extra charge for the longer drive.
Is the 2.5-cord load the biggest you bring out to Sooke?
It is. The bin sizes on our south-island trucks fix the two options at a single cord and 2.5 cords, so there’s nothing larger on one run. If your place needs more than that in a season, order a second load and we’ll schedule it on its own.
What payment do you take for a Sooke order?
Cash or e-transfer. E-transfer adds 5% GST, while cash carries none. That goes for either size, a single cord at $525 or the 2.5-cord load at $1,250. Call or text 250-896-9742 to book, any day of the week, or send the details to info@cowichanfirewood.com.
Is there someone to talk to on a Sunday?
There is. We answer the phone and reply to texts every day of the week, weekends included. The deliveries themselves run Monday to Friday through our Saanich-based dispatcher, so a weekend message is about getting your order written down.
