How Oak Bay deliveries work
Oak Bay loads go out through our Saanich-based dispatcher, Monday to Friday, and we get you in the calendar asap.
Tell us where the wood should go. It’s dumped there as a loose pile, and the stacking is yours to do.
The truck isn’t huge, but it needs a clear path to back in and back out again.
Payment: Cash or e-transfer. E-transfer adds 5% GST; cash is GST-free.How delivery and payment work
Choosing your Oak Bay order
Both sizes are the same premium split fir & hemlock, on the same terms.
One cord
$525, delivered.
2.5 cords
$1,250, delivered: one full bucket load on our south-island truck.
Why no 2-cord size
The bin sizes on our south-island trucks set the two sizes we can bring.
Questions about firewood in Oak Bay
Does Oak Bay get Victoria’s prices?
Oak Bay is delivered on Victoria’s terms: premium split fir & hemlock, a single cord for $525 or 2.5 cords for $1,250, Monday to Friday, with delivery included.
Is a single cord delivered to Oak Bay on the same terms as the bigger load?
One cord at $525 comes on the same terms as 2.5 cords at $1,250: delivered on a weekday through our Saanich-based dispatcher, paid by cash or e-transfer.
How much yard space should I leave for 2.5 cords?
More than the 320 cubic feet the wood would fill stacked. 2.5 cords arrive as a loose dumped pile, which spreads wider than neat rows, so clear a generous patch where you want it and keep a path open for the truck.
What if my Oak Bay home needs more than 2.5 cords?
Order a second load. 2.5 cords is the biggest single delivery on the south island, set by our truck bin sizes, so a larger supply for the season comes as two separate drops, each on the same terms.
